Video Production
I have a passion for producing (and editing!) video, which has followed me throughout my career. I began in sports, where I produced content for ESPN, CBS Sports, IndyCar, and more. At TV Guide, I produced original series such as "Never Before Seen” and “It Must Be a Sign” for YouTube and IGTV, alongside celebrity coverage and content. And at CBS, I created paid spots for shows like Matlock and Tracker that garnered millions of views on launch and directly led to episode reach and successful premieres.
Lastly, in line with the trend, I learned how to code Augmented Reality filters for Instagram and Snapchat. These were shared and used over 200K times.
Paid Social
When it came to Matlock’s Paid Social strategy, I took ownership upon launch. We wanted to play with the phrase “I’m not that innocent,” as exhibited by the infamous Britney Spears song (since we had the rights). Since we were able to get bespoke footage with the cast, we came up with the tagline of “Keep it Matlocked,” to not only tease the twist at end the end of the first episode, but also to keep it under wraps. This video alone reached nearly 90 million views on the first day of push.
Never Before Seen
When coming up with content that would work for both IGTV and YouTube, I created and produced the show Never Before Seen, which centered on a show expert asking trivia questions of someone who has NEVER SEEN the show.
Sports
I was fortunate enough to work with such names as ESPN, CBS, and the Marine Corps to produce high-quality sports packages used in marketing and on television.
Cross-Company Collaboration
I worked with multiple teams to identify opportunities for collaboration across platforms as well as owned titles. The above is a collaboration between NFL on CBS and Tracker. We noticed that the shows had overlapping demographics in audience, and we wanted to highlight the fact that if you like one, you might like the other. The final product proved to be a successful collaboration that received praise from multiple stakeholders.
TikTok
In spearheading TV Guide’s TikTok content, I knew I wanted it to be an amalgamation of insightful, educational, and funny. Sadly, I’m not really any of those things, so instead I roasted our followers.
Interviews
Over the years I spent with TV Guide, I was lucky enough to interview many casts that I loved and respected, such as the cast of Criminal Minds, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Vikings, and American Horror Story.
AR Filters
During the height of AR popularity, I taught myself how to create filters like the one above (modeled by Jeanine Mason from CW’s Roswell, New Mexico). These continue to bring in engagement even months after posting.
